Who are the people involved in managing an initiative, and what are their roles?
Processing an initiative involves several participants, each with a defined role. In the initiative’s record, the team section lists all the people concerned and their roles:

Author(s): Person(s)* who originated the initiative.

Editor: Person who writes an initiative on behalf of another person, the author.

Contributor(s): Person(s) who provided a contribution or comment.

Expert(s): Person(s) asked to expertise the initiative.

Approver: Person in charge of analysing the opportunity in order to make a decision (approve or reject the initiative), the approver has to close approved initiatives once implemented.

Implementation coordinator: Person in charge of implementing the initiative.

Task Owner(s) (if the Tasks module is enabled): Person(s) assigned to carry out a task contributing to the implementation of the initiative.

Verifier(s) (if the Verification of effectiveness module is enabled): Person asked to cross check the right realisation of the closed initiative.

These stakeholders are automatically identified based on the actions they have performed as part of the initiative. Additional stakeholders may also be designated:

Sponsor: Person with a governance role who supports the project.

Financial Controller(s) (if the Financial Analysis module is enabled): Person(s) who can edit and verify the initiative’s financial analysis.

Additional Member(s): Other person(s) involved in processing the initiative.
If there are co-authors, one of them is designated as the main contact person. This person is used as the reference when the initiative must be sent to a specific approver based on the author (for example: approver from the author’s department, author’s manager, etc.).
