How to specify the plan, site, service, process or product in the scope of an initiative?
Depending on the management settings of the initiative, it is possible to specify the site, service, process and/or product impacted: this is the scope of the initiative. This can be done when submitting a new initiative or later by using the "Change the scope" feature.
To configure the types of elements to be included in the scope
- Go to Administration > Initiatives management > Initiative management settings.
- In the "Submission of initiatives" section, field "Scope", select the different elements to be activated*.
- To make the choice of scope available from the declaration form, go to the "Initiative Form" section, and select "Include the choice of the scope" field.
- Click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
There must be at least one existing site, service, process or product in order to be able to select the corresponding types of elements.
To fill in the scope while submitting a new initiative
- Click on the "new initiative" button.
- In the "Scope" section, fill in the different elements using the drop-down lists.
- Click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
To fill in or change the scope of an existing initiative
- Open the initiative form.
- Click on the action button on the upper right and select "Change the scope"*.
- Choose the scope elements to add.
- Click on "Save".
Required right: Initiative > Initiative management > Change the scope
If a user cannot enter the scope (all or only part of it), even though the management settings allow it, make sure the user does have visibility rights (in his access profile) on the scope element required. Note that the same applies in the search engine: the user must have the according visibility rights in order to perform a search on a scope element.
