What is the purpose of domains?

A domain offers a consolidated view of initiatives associated with several plans :

  • A domain includes different plans.
  • A plan can be associated with different domains.

The initiatives are therefore not directly associated with domains. The latter are only used for reporting purposes, particularly in multi-site contexts.

For example, an operational director could have a consolidated view of the plans 1, 5, and 7 that concern him, and another director could analyse plans 5, 6 and 8 in a consolidated manner.

Domains are organized by tree structure, in fact a domain can be linked to a "parent" domain. They can be found in the Reporting & Explore section*.

Required rights: Administration > Users & Access profiles > Access profiles. Select the required profile and add the rights in relation to "Domains".
