In IDhall, the approver is the person responsible for analysing the opportunity in order to make a decision (approve or reject the initiative). The approver must also close approved initiatives once they have been completed. If the approver considers that he is not the best person to process the initiative, it can be transferred to another approver.
To change the approver of an initiative

Go to the initiative file.

Click “Transfer to another approver”* via the actions button.

Select the new approver from the drop-down list.

Click “Submit”.
This option can also be used in decision-making structures with multiple approvers. An initiative may also be transferred to another approver after it has been approved. In this case, the approver is not the person who will closes the initiative.
